Chemical Services are pleased to announce the arrival of 5-EAPB.
5EAPB / 5-EAPB Powder is a research chemical which can be classified as an entactogenic or emphatogenic amphetamine. Entactogenic chemicals refer to those chemicals which produce social and emotional psychoactive effects similar to those caused by MDMA (Ecstasy), hence their popular and frequent recreational abuse. 5-EAPB shares a similar structure to both 5-MAPB and 5-APB which are also entactogens and initiate similar effects as 5-EAPB.
Most entactogens have a substituted amphetamine core explaining the hallucinogenic, empathogenic and psychoactive effects seen with these chemicals. Amphetamine action is essentially based around the increased amounts of catecholamine neurotransmitters norepinephrine and dopamine. These neurotransmitters are responsible for the stimulant effect experienced in humans and create a sense of euphoria and ‘high’ giving rise to its continued abuse as a recreational chemical.
5-EAPB is also believed to be an agonist of the 5-HT2C serotonin receptor which is its most telling feature with regards to its hallucinogenic effects. The 5-HT2C serotonin receptor is responsible for mediating a range of physiological processes including the stimulation of the central nervous system provoking neuronal excitation, anxiety and behavioural effects and is the target for many psychedelic chemicals such as 5-EAPB.
5-EAPB and other psychedelics activate this receptor which is believed to then mediate hallucinogenic effects. 5-HT2C serotonin receptor agonist is also associated with the mediation of cardiac processes such as platelet aggregation vasoconstriction and vasodilatation. Long term use of 5-EAPB therefore is increasingly likely to cause cardio toxicity - even more so in animal test subjects with a history of heart issues or pre existing cardiac disease.
As well as being a potent agonist for the 5-HT2C serotonin receptor 5-EAPB is also a triple monoamine reuptake inhibitor meaning it prevents the reuptake of all three monoamine neurotransmitters, serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine. It achieves this by blocking the action of monoamine transporters which results in an increased amount of the monoamine neurotransmitters in the synaptic cleft, ultimately resulting in an overall increased concentration of dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain of test subjects.
Tests on animals have apparently confirmed that the effects usually take about forty minutes after ingestion to be felt and a dizzy light headedness is first experienced shortly followed by an increase in heart rate which is a direct results of the vasoconstriction effects of 5-EAPB. Controlled tests on animals have shown euphoria is usually felt within one hour of ingestion. Within its chemical structure 5-EAPB has a 6-APB benzo furan ring which is responsible for its ‘benzo fury like’ effects.
Is 5-EAPB legal?
It should be legal worldwide. However, we advise conducting your own thorough research on 5EAPB's legality in your country before you buy 5-EAPB, particularly if you are ordering from Sweden, Finland or Norway.
